Founded in 2024, ABIS Arms was created by Paul and Jade specifically to build something for their children’s future. From our shop in Oakdale, Louisiana, we bring firearm retail, gunsmithing, Cerakote, transfers, and custom projects together with personal service and attention to detail. Our team includes a GLOCK factory-certified armorer.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SHOP
For Paul and Jade, ABIS Arms has always been about family. They started the business to build something lasting for their four children’s future. Here’s how each helps make that vision a reality.
Paul founded ABIS Arms to build something lasting for his children. A lifelong firearms enthusiast and collector, he leads gunsmithing, Cerakote finishing, custom builds, firearms operations, and customer service. He brings 13½ years of Louisiana Army National Guard service, nearly 20 years in law enforcement and corrections, and experience as a GLOCK factory-certified armorer to his work with customers.
Jade’s first and most important role is being Mama to Altas, Barrett, Isaac, and Sebastian — proudly rated “Best Mama in the World” by her family. As Owner and Director of Operations, she keeps ABIS Arms running behind the scenes, bringing experience in upper-level sales management and marketing along with a four-year degree in Biological Science from Louisiana State University (LSU). She also holds a very special title: President of the Future Owners Development Committee — AKA Mama.
SERVICE / EXPERIENCE / COMMITMENT
Paul served 13½ years in the Louisiana Army National Guard with the 2228th Military Police Company. His service included Operation Iraqi Freedom (2008–2009) and Operation Crest Guard (Task Force Gator) in New Orleans (2005–2008). He also deployed to Haiti twice for humanitarian relief, completed two training missions in Belize, and responded to numerous hurricanes and other disasters across Louisiana.
His military experience included training alongside personnel from the Belize Defence Force, British armed forces, U.S. Marshals Service, Louisiana State Police, and other organizations.
Paul has worked in law enforcement and corrections for nearly 20 years. He currently serves as a federal law enforcement officer, with previous service at the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office, Pointe Coupee Sheriff’s Office, and Glenmora Police Department.
A lifelong firearms enthusiast and collector, Paul is also a GLOCK factory-certified armorer. His professional experience and passion for firearms are central to the hands-on work he leads at ABIS Arms.
THE MEANING BEHIND OUR NAME
ABIS stands for our four children: Altas, Barrett, Isaac, and Sebastian. Paul and Jade started ABIS Arms specifically to build something for their children’s future. The name is a daily reminder of why the business exists and of the legacy they hope to create.
