What to expect
How are shipping costs determined?
Charges depend on product eligibility, package handling, destination, and carrier requirements. Restricted items or FFL transfers may need separate arrangements. ABIS Arms will confirm eligibility and costs before accepting an order.
Firearms ship to a receiving FFL dealer only
Firearms shipped by ABIS Arms are delivered only to a verified receiving Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) authorized to receive the item, never directly to a customer’s residential address. The buyer must select or arrange a receiving FFL, and the dealer must agree to accept the transfer before ABIS ships. We will verify the dealer’s license and lawful destination. The buyer must complete required identification, federal/state forms, background checks and any applicable state requirements with the receiving dealer before taking possession. The receiving FFL may charge its own fees. For in-store pickup at ABIS Arms, the lawful transfer process is completed here before release.
State and local shipping restrictions
State, county, city and territorial restrictions vary by product and may regulate firearm types, configurations, magazine capacities, ammunition shipments, licensing or delivery methods. ABIS Arms reviews each item and destination before accepting and shipping orders. We will not ship an item where it would violate applicable law, and may require additional dealer documentation or cancel and appropriately refund an order that cannot legally be fulfilled. The site will block restricted product-and-destination combinations at checkout after jurisdictional rules have been verified; until then all such orders are subject to manual approval. No international firearm shipping is offered.
Receiving-dealer and carrier requirements
Firearms cannot be sent to a P.O. box or the buyer’s home. A receiving FFL’s verified delivery address and acceptance are required for shipped firearms. Carrier acceptance, packaging, tracking, insurance, signatures and any special handling must follow the carrier’s rules. Ammunition and restricted merchandise may require separate shipping methods or may be unavailable to some destinations.
Which items may require different shipping arrangements?
Firearms requiring licensed transfers, ammunition, heavy or oversized items, restricted goods, and locations with special carrier charges are subject to separate eligibility and shipping review. We will disclose applicable charges before an order is accepted.
When can I pick up my order?
Only after ABIS Arms confirms that the item has arrived and is ready. A distributor inventory listing does not mean the product is on our shelf. Firearm release also requires completion of all applicable legal transfer requirements.
Can I request faster shipping?
Expedited shipping may be available for eligible items at an additional cost. Contact the shop to discuss options before placing an order.
This staging website does not accept orders or payments. Before checkout is enabled, ABIS Arms will publish confirmed shipping charges, carrier restrictions, product exclusions, destination eligibility and applicable transfer terms. A website listing never authorizes release of a firearm.
